Koshland-Designed Activities

Koshland-Designed Activities
The Koshland Science Museum has developed a number of teacher and student tested materials for educators. The materials connect current sciences with tangible, real-life experiences for your students. Materials range from one day long lessons to projects that may span a number of days. All of the museum's education materials can be integrated into cross-curricular units across subject areas. Expert teachers field test all materials with their students to ensure effectiveness and quality. Please check back periodically for new lessons that you can integrate into your curriculum.

Webquest
The Koshland Science Museum has created online webquest activities for students interested in learning more about issues presented in our exhibits. Webquests are an increasingly popular way to engage students in problem-based learning activities by using pre-selected and reviewed Internet resources. Webquests are designed to use a student's time effectively, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to promote learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
