The Marian Koshland Science Museum is easily accessible by Washington, DC’s Metrorail system. The closest Metro stations are: Gallery Place/Chinatown, served by the Red, Green, and Yellow lines; and Judiciary Square, served by the Red line.

From the Northwest (Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Bethesda)
Southbound on I-270

• Travel South on I – 270 to I – 495 Southbound, towards Washington/Northern Virginia. (I – 495 is the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway.)
• Continue on I – 495, crossing the American Legion Bridge, into Virginia.
• Take Exit 43, the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway), Southbound. This is a right exit just after the American Legion Bridge.
• Follow the GW Parkway for approximately 9 miles to I – 66 Eastbound, towards Washington, DC.Take I – 66 over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge into, Washington, DC, following the signs for US Route 50 Eastbound/Constitution Avenue, NW.
• Continue straight onto Constitution Avenue, NW/US 50.
• Turn left onto 6th Street, NW.Continue on 6th Street, NW for 0.2 miles to E Street, NW.
• The Marian Koshland Science Museum is located on the right at the northeast corner of 6th and E Streets, NW.

From the Northeast (New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore)
Southbound on I-95.

• Travel South on I – 95. At the split for I – 95/I – 495, follow the signs for Washington/Northern Virginia, staying in the left lanes to I – 95 South/495 East. (I – 95 South/495 East is the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway).
• Take Exit 22B, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (BW Parkway), Southbound towards Washington, DC.
• Follow the B-W Parkway to US Route 50/New York Avenue, NE Westbound into Washington, DC.
• Follow New York Avenue for 4.5 miles, to 6th Street, NW.
• Turn left onto 6th Street, NW. Continue on 6th Street, NW for 0.5 miles to E Street, NW.

From the East (Annapolis, Bowie)
Westbound on US Route 50 into Washington, DC.

• Travel West on US Route 50 into Washington, DC. US Route 50 becomes New York Avenue.
• Follow New York Avenue 4.5 miles, to 6th Street, NW.
• Turn left onto 6th Street, NW.Continue on 6th Street, NW for 0.5 miles to E Street, NW.

Eastbound on I-66.

Northbound on I-95

• Travel North on I – 95 to I – 395 Northbound. Follow I-395 Northbound via exit 170A –on the left- toward Washington.
• Take the D Street, NW ramp at the D Street, NW exit toward the US Capitol.
• Turn left onto D Street, NW.
• Turn right onto 6th Street, NW.
• Follow 6th Street, NW for 0.1 miles to E Street, NW.
